Joyce Oates, Owner, Owner - Staff Bios

 

 

As owner of Avalon Salon, Joyce Oates is an Air Force brat, and has lived in Hawaii, North Dakota, Tennessee and finally South Carolina.  Prior to opening Avalon Salon, Joyce has managed three different Hair Cuttery's in the Columbia area since she started doing hair in 1990.  She also has been a regional educator for the Hair Cuttery as well as an educator for Sebastian, Paul Mitchell and Redken.  Joyce loves to create customized styles for her clientele and is not afraid of a challenge.
